Happy New Year!

A big thank you to all our wonderful clients this year! Thank you for trusting us to help your special day or event come to life! Thank you to our new clients, we are looking forward to planning with you!

And a BIG thank you to the team of people around me that help me bring all of these events to life! I could not do it without you, and I appreciate each of you more than I can say! I have THE best people!! Here’s to another successful year!

Cal LeGrow Christmas Party

We were happy to be back working with Darlene from Cal LeGrow for their Christmas Party for our final event of the year! Black linens and chair covers with a silver sequin table runner. Centerpieces become giveaways for each table which I think is awesome and they were beautiful! We did photobooth services too for this one, and guests had a lot of fun with our props and signs!

Sarah and Daniel, Bally Haly Golf and Country Club

After a postponement, our last wedding of the year was Sarah and Daniel, they were married at the Bethseda Church and tasked me with making the altar area look more wedding like. We added a wrap around backdrop in white sheer and added white chiffon runners to the chairs. It transformed the space! At Bally Haly we did white chair covers and table linens, added a backdrop to frame the headt table. The centerpieces were our popular cylinder vases with greenery on top of a wooden slab.

Lori and Jeff, Lion's Club Pouch Cove

Right from the start of our planning, Lori knew that she wanted royal blue, we did white tablecloths with royal blue table runners, white chair covers with royal blue sashes and centerpieces with royal blue flowers. We added uplighting to give the room that blue glow and her head table backdrop was white with curtain lights.

Robyn and Jared, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Robyn provided much of the decor to add with my own and was very organized and thorough with the way she wanted things to look, which I always appreciate when adding so much of a client’s decor. We added black table linens, and cylinder vases with floating candles, along with the fresh florals and greenery. We rented chairs and they looked lovely against the black. Robyn’s candlesticks were lovely, as was her fireplace decor and the other decor elements she added. We added white uplighting to the room.

Samantha and Michael, The Johnson Geo Centre

This one was special, one of my team members got married! Samantha picked black tablecloths with silver sequin table runners and black chair covers with apple red sashes. We did a trio of cylinder vases with floating candles, surrounded by greenery and a deep red hydrangea. The head table backdrop doubled as a backdrop for their ceremony, white sheer with curtain lights.

Holly and Josh, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56

Holly and Josh wanted to elevate the set up at the Legion by renting chairs. The tables were dressed in white with greenery runners and cylinder vases and candles woven throughout. The head table backdrop framed the head table with its curtain lights. Terra cotta napkins and table runners for the head table were a pop of colour!

Sarah and Michael, The CLB Armoury

Sarah was a DIY bride that needed someone to add her decor, she also rented a backdrop from me so while in setting that up, we placed out the decor as well. She did a lovely job on collecting decor for her fall themed wedding!

Hilary and Lucas, Bauline Community Centre

Hilary and Lucas held their ceremony and reception at the Bauline Community Centre. Hilary had a lot of her own decor, added her own table runners, archway and centerpieces. We provided the table linens, chair covers and backdrop, along with flipping the room to reception.

Jodi and Justin, The Gypsy Tea Room

Jodi and Justin had the entire downstairs at the restaurant, ceremony in the cellar while the white room was set for a sit down dinner. Simple decor with greenery runners, cylinder vases and candles woven along the length of the tables, gave an amazing glow once candles were lit.

Alicia and Grant, Admiral's Green Clubhouse

Alicia and Grant had both their ceremony and reception at Admiral’s Green. We added a backdrop to highlight the head table and ceremony backdrop, solid in the middle and pulled back on either side to expose the amazing view from the Clubhouse. The chairs were dressed in white, as were the tables, with a trio of cylinder vases and floating candles and greenery, the gold charger plates added a warmth to the tables.

Zack and Tori, The CLB Armoury

Tori and Zack held both their ceremony and reception at the CLB. The chairs were dressed in white with sage green sashes, tables in white with centerpieces of a wooden slab with greenery and cylinder vases with floating candles. We added curtain lights to the head table backdrop.

Fortis Meet and Greet, Quidi Vidi Brewery

Following their annual meeting, Fortis employees from across Canada enjoyed themselves with an evening at the Quidi Vidi Brewery for an upscale kitchen party. We added gold terrariums with touches of Newfoundlandia, Jellybean row house figures, puffins, and whales painted on rocks.

Kayla and Edward, The Bella Vista

Kayla and Edward held both their ceremony and reception at the Bella Vista. The chairs were dressed in white with champagne sashes, tables in white with the champagne table runner and for a pop of colour we added terra cotta napkins and the result was spectacular!

Allison and Andrew, The Gypsy Tea Room upstairs

With the restaurant closed to the public, the Gypsy Tea Room hosted Allison and Andrew’s reception. The decor was simple, white chiffon table runners across their bare tables, bud vases with florals and cylinder vases with floating candles added across.

Ashley and Daniel, The CLB Armoury

I love couples that include bits of themselves in their decor, it is what makes things special! The chairs were dressed in white with silver organza sashes, the tables were dressed in navy with silver sequin runners and the sweetheart table was dressed in all silver sequin. Because of the size of their wedding party, they opted for a sweetheart table on the stage, and had their party sit in front of them on floor level. Ashley had gathered some decor from trips to Japan and gave it to me to incorporate into the decor. We did a trio of cylinder vases with water gems, fairy lights and added her special pieces throughout the vases.

Tisha and John, Sheraton Hotel Court Garden

Tisha and John’s guests were mainly from away, and the couple wanted to give them a splash of Newfoundlandia with their wedding decor. We used red, yellow and royal blue napkins to represent some of the colours in our iconic Jellybean Row. We did beach rocks in cylinder vases on top of a wooden slab as centerpieces. The couple named their tables after towns across the province that were special to them. Their guests each were given a pen with the province’s flag and a very cute puffin cookie. Chairs were kept simple and only dressed in white, and we added covers to the ones in the dance portion as well.

Heather and Maxwell, Comfort Hotel

Heather and Maxwell held their ceremony and reception at the Comfort Hotel. Rich burgundy table runners and sashes were added to the white tablecloths and chairs. The centerpieces were complimentary, both sat on a wooden slab, white lanterns with sunflowers and a trio of cylinder vases with floating candles and sunflowers. The head table was dressed in gold and the backdrop contained curtain lights adding a wonderful glow.
