he Yellow Belly was the perfect venue to compliment the decor the couple had chosen. This rustic wedding had burlap and lace accents; burlap and lace table runners, lace chair sashes and other touches. Centerpieces were a collection of mason jars, flowers with gold beads and a gold wine bottle atop a birch wood slab. Table numbers and other signs were printed using burlap and lace backgrounds. White uplighting behind the head table accented the natural brick.

The Sheraton Hotel Ballroom was the perfect space for this classic and timeless bride and her decor. Beautiful fresh flower hydrangea centerpieces, half taller, half shorter adorned the tables with black table runners and black chair sashes. Silver charger plates added shine to the tables. The backdrop consisted of white sheer voille with black valance trim and crystal curtains and the head table was draped in white sheer.

The Yellow Belly is a beautiful backdrop for a wedding, its natural stone wall and original wood floors make the space quaint and lovely. Coral and charcoal gray were the couple's colours of choice. Coral chair sashes were added to the beautiful chairs at the Yellow Belly, with charcoal in the table runners. Centerpieces were simple with white hydrangea and natural twigs, candles to accent. The cake table was draped in silver sequins to add sparkle to the room along with the string lighting and lanterns over the dance floor area.

The decor was monochromatic with champagne on the chair sashes and table runners. Gold matt and sparkle bottles with a cylinder vase of creamy white hydrangea composed the centerpieces, a small fish bowl with pearls and votive candle holders accented. A champagne sequin tablecloth accented the cake table. The head table backdrop was accented with white uplighting and a champagne overlay was gathered on the head table.

The bride decided to make her own centerpieces and picked purple and blue hydrangea in silver painted mason jars, and the rest of the decor was inspired by that choice. Royal blue chair sashes were used on top of white spandex chair covers and royal purple table runners were used on the tables. The seating chart and signs throughout the room also reflected the purple and blue hydrangea choice. Blue uplighting was added to give the room that great glow as the evening went on.

The main inspiration for this wedding's decor was the bride's bouquet, she decided to have a bouquet of colourful daisies. We incorporated different coloured daisies into the centerpieces and added touches of mint green in the chair sashes and bronze in the candle holders. The Bungalow has a lovely view of Bowring Park and this wedding with its natural colour palette complimented the outdoor space.

Kayla and Shane
Overall, the bride wanted simple decor for her wedding. For centerpieces, we did a trio of cube vases, filled with jade coloured water gems and candles on top of square mirrors sprinkled with royal blue marbles. Jade chair sashes and tablecloths were used on the speciality tables. The head table backdrop was highlighted with jade coloured uplighting.

As not to cover the beautiful view from the Manuel's River Interpretation Centre, we went with a backdrop behind the head table that was very airy and flowy; sheer voille and gray string curtains were used to create a frame for the head table. White satin chair covers and light pink sashes were used on the chairs, burlap runners with lace in the center and white tablecloths were used on the tables. Centerpieces of different sized mason jars with a floral arrangement and floating candles sat atop a birch wood slab. A custom monogram gobo was designed for the dance floor.

The couple were avid outdoors people and wanted to incorporate elements into the decor, their cake was an average wedding cake on the front and camouflage on the back. We created the bride's bouquets from orange calla lilies and those calla lilies were brought into the decor in the centerpieces. Royal blue table runners with an orange strip sat on top white tablecloths and royal blue sashes were used on white spandex chair covers. Both the head table and the parents reserved tables were dressed in royal blue tablecloths. Blue uplighting lit the backdrops behind the head table and cake table.

Rebecca and Shamas
Shamas and Rebecca came to me with a very vivid colour pallette, fuchsia, orange and turquoise. We used ivory linens and chair covers to soften the look of the bright fuchsia, adding it in as table runners, adding in the light turquoise as chair sashes and the orange as accents, primarily in the centerpieces. 2 real touch orange calla lilies were used in the tallest of the 3 cylinder vases we used as centerpieces, clear crystal beads in the bottom and floating candles in the smaller vases which added a lovely glow once lit. We also custom designed a dance floor monogram gobo for the dance floor area displaying the couple's name.

Samrudha and Anand's Engagement Party
The focal point of the decor of this engagement party was the traditional tapestry flown in specifically for this event. We incorporated the tapestry into the backdrop behind the stage area, and took from it the colours for the rest of the decor. Centerpieces were displayed in cube vases with royal blue ribbon and bling surrounding it, white hydrangea and a single royal blue calla lily. Royal blue lighting was used to highlight and add colour around the room.

Krista and Matt
The upper room at Rocket Bakery is a lovely space for an intimate event, beautiful wooden floors and a clapboard wall make it a special space. Krista and Matt had their ceremony and reception in the space, and the venue provided 2 wooden pews for some of their guests to sit on while the rest sat from their dinner chairs. The decor consisted of white spandex chair covers with champagne sashes, champagne table runners and centerpieces of white hydrangea with pussy willow twigs, champagne sequin tablecloth for the gift and guest book table and white uplighting to give the long white wall some interest as the evening went on.

MUN School of Pharmacy Graduation Gala
The graduation class wanted the decor colours to reflect their "Friends" tv show theme, and chose gold table runners and royal purple chair sashes. Centerpieces of a trio of cylinder vases with floating candles and simple table numbers finished off the decor on the tables.

MUN Commerce Graduation Gala
The graduation class wanted simple decor for their gala dinner and a colour to match their class colour. They chose burgundy runners with centerpieces of a trio of cylinder vases with burgundy flowers and floating candles. A photo backdrop was set up outside complete with balloons displaying 2016.
Tiffany and Tyler
Tiffany and Tyler held their ceremony and reception at Manuel's River, which is a beautiful space for any event. Tiffany's fun side showed itself in the choice of centerpiece, eggplant mums were paired with candy sticks, that she had purchased and wanted to use. The table runners were in eggplant, chair sashes of an organza mint green and satin chair covers. Both purple and mint lighting was used to accent the room.

The Quidi Vidi Brewery provides an intimate setting for a wedding, the view is striking and the space beautiful. The couple wanted minimal decor using navy and white, we decorated a sweetheart table, provided table numbers and centerpieces, set up a guest book and gift table, and did bouquets.

NLNU Newfoundland Night
This event marked the end of the Newfoundland Chapter of the Nurses Union hosting the other Atlantic Provinces and Newfoundland related decor was requested. The event was informal, so while we used white spandex chair covers, no sashes were used. Centerpiece number 1 - jelly bean row house luminaries sitting atop a juniper wood slab with a dory sitting on it. Centerpiece number 2 - an arrangement of hydrangea with a clothes line representing the nurses uniform hanging on the line. The table numbers were named after Newfoundland town names and there was a photo booth display with Newfoundland themed props.

Suncor Energy Gala
This Gala was the end of a week long conference with simple and elegant as the focus of the decor. Black chair covers with seafoam green/tiffany blue sashes, tied low on the chair and full table overlays and centerpieces with cube vases, gold beads and LED lights hidden in the beads.

Andrew and Lyndsay
Andrew and Lyndsay's venue choice was perfect to showcase the beautiful wintry scene on the day they were married. A subtle french theme ran throughout the decor which incorporated creamy white hydrangea and pussy willow into the centerpieces and the striking maroon on the tables. Champagne chair sashes, white spandex chair covers and white uplighting completed the look.
